We have collaborated with a wide range of artists, includinge Taby Pilgrim, Liser, Duktus T, moodus, Kaysn , Gravity Shock, Thizzy, access:Icarus , Tobias „Krieg und Freitag“ Vogel , Andre „Egon Forever!“ Lux and many others.
In addition to our studio services, our team also provides live and DJ support for artists such as moodus and Kaysn.
Team & History
Plattitude and CNQ are the two team members of Islelaidback. The duo first met at a youth center where CNQ was playing bass for a crossover band and Plattitude joined as a DJ. Together, they performed at various venues such as the Logo, Knust, and Markthalle.
Plattitude gained experience as a live DJ, performing in clubs such as Astra-Stube, Fundbureau, and Waagenbau. In 2003, he teamed up with DJ Smith to start the Electro-Scratch project Les Cracheurs and became residents at Pjuma Lounge. The duo played at various events, including a summer engagement on the island of Sylt, a club opening in Lithuania, and a set at the Airbeat One-Festival in 2004.
As their passion for music production grew, Plattitude and CNQ received opportunities to improve their skills in industry-standard mixing and mastering techniques at places like the Boogie Park. Their focus on sound quality led to work with several Hip-Hop and Electro artists and labels, including Cobretti Records.
In 2016, the duo established a new studio and completed its reconstruction with their first mix and mastering work for Tipo van Scoop, released in 2017. Since then, they have worked on more than 120 releases.
